No Wrong Way! There is no right or wrong way to move your body. When you feel stuck, through movement you can experience a huge release of emotions and energy. Let go of any judgements that may go through your mind. When you dance, you move to your own rhythm and your body will know exactly how to move. Dance your bliss is a movement practice, its a meditation in movement which allows your body to release those stuck emotions and experience joy. D.Y.B. offers The Groove method, a dynamically interactive, fun and creative group dance experience. As your facilitator, I unite everyone in a simple movement and rhythm but you get to dance it your own unique way. While exploring a variety of different style of music and genre. You will experience from delicious meditative groove to heart thumping and strength building cardio beats. The perfect recipe to nurture mind, body, heart and soul.
When you attend a 'Dance Your Bliss' dance exercise classes you will:
The YAH is a unique class that focuses on building body awareness, mobility and strength while nurturing interpersonal skills and creativity through a mostly seated experience.

Last week I participated in a workshop "Spring into You" animated by Kim Valiquette and Irene Andrejczuk. I am grateful that I was able to be part of this wonderful group of women. They showed us that self care is a huge part of what's missing when our life is busy and or stressful. They presents us ways to first recognize our limits and to exercise self care and take better care of us. Kim Valiquette was wonderful at guiding us into a body scan in movement! Kim Valiquette is a certified coach, teacher, speaker, and dancer who is passionate about helping people improve their lives and wellbeing through movement and dance. Kim noticed a mind/body connection early in her career which led her to embark on a journey of personal development. This journey allowed her to understand the connection of body movement, dance, self-image, and confidence. Kim applied her knowledge in the studio and was intrigued by the positive transformations she had witnessed from her students.
Kim learned that sometimes life’s opportunities are disguised as misfortune when chronic back pain forced her to stop dancing but led her on a path of self-discovery and a new approach to the pleasures of dancing without pain. Kim’s love of dance and her search for a softer approach to dance and movement led her to discover conscious dance. This style of dance not only transformed Kim’s body and allowed her to move without pain but it awakened her. Excited about her renewed passion for life and her love of dance, Kim wanted to share her experience with others. Kim has found her bliss, and wishes to inspire others to do the same. Her classes are not just about dance. They are about movement. They are about connecting the body with the mind in a way that touches the soul. Kim has had a successful career as a dancer and model for over twenty years and she brought the pleasure of Latin dance to hundreds of students for over eight years with her successful Tropicalissimo Dance School in Montreal, Quebec where she taught Salsa, Merengue and Lady Styling.
